I was a member of this group for quite a few years in its hey day when Howard Marks sood up for An office job!
No longer a political group but a net work bound by its principles for the legalisation of Cannabis which i have to admit i did not pay my membership this year.Whatch out all of those like me, as our reminder letters were taken by the police during a raid at the secretarys home along with a number of plants.Whoops lets hope they dont follow us all up for a late payment!

We all send our love and wishes to the late jack Herer`s family who have seen him recently become unwell after he suffered a heart attack whilst he was at the Hempstalk event in Portland Oregon.Our thoughts are with all those that new him,he was a man whose words taught us all more about Cannabis than any other, through his fammed books The Emperor Wears No Clothes which has educated millions across the world.Thank you Jack rest gently in peace.

Its bad news that this years Big Green Gathering festival has been stopped due to the police red tape! read into it what you will as they are not really saying a lot at the moment.
It was due to start today now heavy police will be there to stop people going on the site.:(

We are packing our bags for Glastonbury its allways really exciting time.This year is our first in a caravan such luxery i am going to cook our first ever Glasto roast dinner.Rolling all the way... love Eric x

We have also had a few problems in the snow trying to get to the Post office!some mail is running a few days behind.

We have some great new books in namely the Freak Brother Omnibus its all the comics + a little extra Fat freddys cat and some colour pages we are thrilled to stock such a collectors classic.
We are also waiting for our first import direct from San Francisco the home of the Freak Brother comics so we hope to have full sets by the end of the week.
DANK this is another large beautifully photographed book packed with strains of the very best Marijuana. This is also from the USA by Subcool a breeder of his time.

We were invited back for our tenth Glastonbury festival to gather our books and stall and set up in the Green fields. I was not sure if my recent disability was going to make it impossiable or weather i could still have some great summer fun.My report is going to be in WeedWorld 77.

After a fantastic festival this year the BGG is around £75,000 in dept and needs to raise funds or face going bankrupt.why not visit the site and see the ways in which you can help save this unique event.

Radio Avalon has been doing Glastonbury festival radio amonst other things since 1983.We have grown up with their Somerset doodles and proffesional interviewing served with a natural passion for relaxed well informed,exciting radio.
We dont all want radio one we would like a choice as the Greenfield breakfast was the best you could get.

Issue one graced our table earlier this month and before i had time to really read this packed new mag my only copy was half inched!As i stood knee deep in a river of mud at Glastonbury festival.A big thank you to all, you know who you are that came in and brought books,magazines and a lot of chat and laughter.

Sentenced to 250 hours CS + £1,000 fine. Pat was found guilty of possession,cultivation of Cannabis used in food preperations to ease her medical symptoms.An expensive meal for Pat, and a lesson for us all.Unless you want to be on TV and radio around the world, watch out who you invite for dinner.

THC4MS have been found guilty of making thousands of bars of cannabis chocolate and sending them out to those with MS.You can see them cooking in our book CANNABIS CAFE.We have supported them and followed this difficult struggle to help others.
We were pleased to learn that the sentance was suspended.As the law stands they could have been jailed for 14 years.Food for thought for us all i think.

Wow found this at the Big Green Gthering it is a plastic bottle of water from Belu,made from corn and commercially composts in 12 weeks.The water is bottled in the UK with all the profits going to other clean water projects,not a bad idea

What a fantastic event this year turned out to be,with perfect weather and lots of lovely people.One of those being Steve of Hemp Garden who makes the best hemp shampoo i have ever found to check out his beautiful range use the link its well worth it.

The UK Hydro & Hemp Expo Fair has had its plug pulled and sadly will not be going ahead this year.

This event started last year and is booked to go ahead on the 4,5,6th November at the Wembley Exhibition Centre.
It seems we have some competition so dont be fooled if its not organised by WeedWorld magazine its probably just a pipe dream...

This is our sixth exhibition at Olympia, we shall be there prmoting Cannabis Cafe to the 20,000 visitors that daily go up and down its vast corridors of never ending books.

Eric`s Kitchen met up with Mrs Tabram at 2004 London Hemp fair.We talked about Cannabis food and she told us of her plans to do a book.Recently she has appeared in the press after being busted twice.Today she is outside No 10 eating a Chocolate & Cannabis pudding! As a cook i would like to compliment her on such a good choice and to thank her as cannabis food has never had such great publicity.

This was at Wembley London on October 1,2,3 The first event of its kind in this country.It was a great fair with cannabis lovers dream gadgets, books, growbags, superfood and tunes to play. It was great to meet the industry full of excitment and good promise.

The new Free Weed magazines have now been bound in to a six monthly magazine called PureWeed and costs £3.95. Throughout its growing 60 pages you will not find one advert.
We gladly welcome the arrival of both Pureweed and Freeweed also the new Heads Europe mag which is due out soon.
We shall continue to support all new magazines here at Erics Kitchen and as established writers for Weedworld we shall enjoy the challenge to write more and we hope you will support them too. Ask at your local news agents and head shop and get them to stock your favourite magazines. |

What a great event! All credit to the organisers, we had a wicked ,time signed lots of books for some lovely people and met up with Howard Marks and his son Patrick. It was fun doing a interview for German TV with Will Rogers the author of Council Flat Paradise.
There was some great music served up all afternoon with a fantastic selection of food and a bar the whole afternoon was full of Love & peace.

Controversy surrounds the Government’s decision to reclassify Cannabis from a class B to a class C drug on 29th January 2004.
Cannabis will be classed alongside anabolic steroids and prescription antibiotics rather than amphetamines as it presently is, while police will make fewer arrests for the possession of small amounts of the drug.
What is the law now?
Cannabis is a Class B drug. Possession of cannabis is a criminal offence. The maximum sentence for possession is
five years.
After the law has changed on 29th January will cannabis still be illegal?
Yes. It will still be a criminal offence to possess cannabis in any form.
What are the new police guidelines?
Police have new guidelines that mean that most people who are stopped will have the drug confiscated and be given a warning. Officers should only arrest repeat offenders or those smoking in public places.
